Video Company Reportedly To Distribute
Hilton Sex Tape
It
looks as though Paris Hilton's "simple life" is about to become a little
more complicated.
According to Reuters News Service, the infamous
homemade sex tape
featuring the Hollywood socialite and her ex-boyfriend that surfaced on
the Internet late last year has been bought for distribution in adult
video stores.
Reuters reported that suburban Los Angeles porn company Red Light District
Video has announced that it required rights to distribute the video from
Rick Salamon, Hilton's ex-boyfriend and participant in the tape.
The video will be released in its 45-minute entirety in June under the
title "One Night in Paris," according to Reuters. Terms of the transaction
between Salamon and the company were not disclosed. Reuters said a
38-minute version of the video was posted on Salamon's own Web site in
February for $50 per download.
Hilton, an heiress of the Hilton Hotel chain, has a $30 million invasion
of privacy lawsuit pending against a Panama-based Internet firm for
originally distributing the video.
Reuters reported there was no comment from Hilton's representatives and
Salamon's attorney could not be reached for comment.
