An Electra-fying kiss
 Kisses,
hugs, tears and Eminem's bare bottom - this year's MTV Movie Awards had
all the usual pizzazz and irreverence we've come to expect from Hollywood.
Heiress Paris Hilton locked lips with Carmen
Electra as she presented the 32-yearold with the Best Kiss award for her
performance in Starsky & Hutch.
'It was very sweet and innocent. There
was no tongue,' she joked backstage at the Los Angeles ceremony.
Former
EastEnder Martine McCutcheon, 28, scooped Best Transatlantic Breakthrough
for her role in Love Actually. Close to tears, she told the crowd: 'I
can't believe I won this. You guys are so much fun.'

come away with Best Female Performance and Best Fight for her action girl
role in the Kill Bill films.
'This is the year of my life,' the 34-yearold said after collecting
the award from Tom Cruise. Lucy Liu won the award for Best Villain in
Kill Bill, while Johnny Depp won Best Male Performance for his part in
Pirates Of The Caribbean.
The top award went to Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King for
Best Movie. It also won Best Action Sequence for the dramatic Battle
of Gondor scene.
Star presenters included actress Kate Beckinsale, and Sharon Stone and
Christina Aguilera. The most rousing performance of the night was by
Eminem, who donned a blond wig to rap his new song My Band.
Halfway through, he pulled down his trousers and mooned to the
audience.
An MTV source said the display would probably be aired, despite
continued US sensitivity since Janet Jackson's famous 'wardrobe
malfunction' at the Super Bowl show. 'It's only a butt and not a
nipple,' he said. The show will be aired on MTV on Saturday at 9.30pm. |
